With May, some warmer temperatures have finally arrived and so have the blooms! In the Greater Saint Louis Area, you can expect to see great shows of blooms on these trees and shrubs:
- Azaleas and Rhododendrons
- Dogwood
- Redbuds
- Viburnum
- Pear
- Cherry

- Fertilize your Azaleas and Rhododendrons
- Plant hardy water lilies in your pond
- Plant summer bulbs like Caladiums, Elephant Ears, and Cannas

- Be sure to recycle your plastic pots at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Open May 1st to October 31st from 9am-4pm.
