Lending a Helping Hand

This fall, Timberline donated a landscape design to "Lift for Life School"€, an inner-city charter school in St Louis. We worked with Rebuilding Together and Pepsi Co. to develop a landscape design around the school that the children could use daily. Once the design work was completed, our Timberline team and 70 volunteers put the plan into place. With numerous paths, walkways, lawn areas, plantings, a pond, garden beds, and many other areas in which students can learn and play, the space is exciting and useful. We're proud to be a part of renewal, redevelopment and the continuous improvement of our St. Louis communities.

Cold Does Not Mean β€œSTOP”

As colder weather sets in don'€™t put your landscaping plans on hold. November and December are perfect times to install retaining walls and patios. Don't let cold temperatures keep you from contacting us if you think your yard could benefit from an upgrade. Here are a few examples of what Timberline Landscapes can do for you.

Gardening Tips:
  • If you intend to keep your Chrysanthemums for next year, cut them back to the ground to avoid looking unsightly during the winter. They will come back next season.
  • Since the ground will soon start to freeze, it's a good idea to mulch smaller plants such as fruit plants. It also doesn't hurt to mulch other less-hardy plants as well to ensure their survival through the winter.
  • If you haven't done so already, a fall or winter lawn fertilizer can now be applied to help with root development and lawn color.
  • Fall is also the time to ask Timberline Landscapes to renovate and reinvigorate your landscape. We can help with all sorts of landscaping needs including: planting flowers, pruning, mulching, leaf removal and more. Call or email us with questions about scheduling your house for a fall cleanup!
